The central living space is anchored by a cozy indoor fireplace and views of the surrounding pine forest. Samsung Smart TV with cable and the option to log into your own streaming apps. Lounge seating for 5-6 guests. Dining area with permanent seating for 6 guests + 2 additional fold-out chairs.
Kitchen
Fully equipped with induction stovetop, convection oven, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, coffee grinder, waffle iron, toaster, and kettle.
Quarters
Sleeps eight across two ground-floor double bedrooms (160cm beds) and two loft bedrooms (2 single beds each). The loft is accessed via a proper staircase; ceilings are lower under the pitched roof.
Location & Access
- Setting: Near the end of a quiet access road with no through traffic or major roads nearby.
- Alpine: 30 meters to the transport slope (some flat sections, approx. 15 mins to main slopes). 7-minute drive to slope-side parking at Gaiastova.
- Cross-Country: 30 meters to the nearest tracks, connected to the extensive Øyerfjellet cross-country network.
- Shopping: Joker grocery at Gaiastova, 7-minute drive. Hafjell centre 15 minutes away with several shops including Vinmonopolet.

Skiing & AccessCross-country tracks and transport slopes start 30 meters from the cabin. The transport slopes connect to the main alpine runs at Hafjell Alpinsenter, roughly 15 minutes on skis with some flat stretches. If you prefer to drive, Gaiastova has slope-side parking, ski rental, and a grocery store, all 7 minutes away.
An outdoor ski rack is available at the cabin. All boots and gear should be stored in the heated entrance hall to keep them dry overnight.

Nearby RestaurantsRakkelhanen — 15-minute walk from the cabin. Casual dining, open select weekends and holidays during ski season. Book ahead.
Pellestova — 8-minute drive. Three options under one roof: Slakteriet for fine dining, Restaurant 980 for a relaxed menu, and Pellekroa for pizza.
The fully equipped kitchen also makes cooking in a comfortable option, with Joker grocery at Gaiastova just 7 minutes away.

Getting HereBy car: Approximately 2.5 hours from Oslo via the E6. Winter tires are required by law from November to April.
By train: Take the train to Hunderfossen station, then connect with Hafjellbussen to the cabin area. The nearest bus stop is a 7-minute walk away. Hafjellbussen runs daily from late December through early April, and is free with a valid lift pass. Plan your journey at entur.no.
